The PlantPod Squared is easy to use, easy to set up, and easy to maintain
The PlantPod Squared is a stand-alone modular hydroponics system that will allow you to grow anything from a small herb garden to a large productive pepper plant.
Simply connect the pump to the PlantPod Lid, plug in the pump to the smart plug, add water and nutrients and plant your seed.
The PlantPod Squared requires little maintenance with its increased water capacity (~3L), allowing for larger plants. Most plants will be able to go 2-4 weeks before needing to add water.

Simply cut and connect the provided 8mm tubing to the submersible pump and to the PlantPod Lid. Route your plug through the PlantPod Lid. Connect to the smart plug and program it to run for the desired intervals. Then add water and nutrients, add net pots and grow sponges, plug in your PlantPod to your smart plug and add a seed.

Yes, the PlantPod comes with a small sample of Clonex. The system is compatible with most major hydroponic nutrients available currently.

Nope. We did not want the PlantPod to be restricted to one type of light. You will need to provide the light for the plant. That can be light from a sunny window, or any decent plant-focused light available from a variety of retailers.

You should pair the PlantPod with the light that will correctly meet the needs of the plant that you want to grow.
If you are planning on growing a larger plant, such as a tomato or pepper, then you will want to pair the PlantPod with a larger more robust light that has plenty of vertical space to allow your plant to grow tall.
If you are planning on growing something smaller with the PlantPod, such as a fresh herb garden. You could simply get a small LED light and place it 12” to 18” above the PlantPod.
If you are just curious about hydroponics or don’t want to purchase a light right away you could simply find a window that has a decent amount of sunlight and place the PlantPod in front of it.
