Nope. We did not want the PlantPod to be restricted to one type of light. You will need to provide the light for the plant. That can be light from a sunny window, or any decent plant-focused light available from a variety of retailers.

No, the PlantLab is compatible with most major hydroponic nutrients available currently. You will need to have hydroponic nutrients to grow a plant in the PlantPod.
